Flatirons Film Festival
The Flatirons Film Festival is a multi-day independent film event held each fall in the Boulder area, with screenings spread across venues in Boulder and Broomfield. It draws filmmakers and film fans from across the region for a mix of features, documentaries, and short films, followed by Q&As with directors and cast. The vibe is relaxed and genuinely cinephile, not red-carpet.
Several screening venues are within 15 minutes of the Westminster property, including the AMC Flatiron Crossing in Broomfield. Tickets sell out for the more popular screenings, so book ahead if you have a specific film in mind.
What to Expect
- Independent features, documentaries, and short film programs
- Director and filmmaker Q&As after select screenings
- Multiple venues across Boulder and Broomfield
- Runs over a long weekend each October or November
- Tickets available per screening or as a festival pass
Getting There
The Broomfield screening venues are about 10 to 15 minutes from the property. Boulder venues are around 20 to 25 minutes. Check the festival schedule and book tickets online before you go, especially for evening screenings on the weekend.
